Background
Crafted since 1798, Highland Park Whiskey is distilled on the islands of Orkney. Although the Orkney Islands are wind-blasted, the climate is surprisingly temperate. Perfect for a long, even-paced whisky maturation in their island warehouses
Challenge
During Covid / Lockdown, product tasting before ordering was not allowed, so the team at Highlands asked us to come up with a solution where consumers could get an idea of the flavour profiles of the whiskey without having to taste it.
Solution
Campaign Creative worked with an essential oils specialist to create infused scent cards for each whiskey variant, highlighting the scents of the respective flavour notes. The cards were then placed on an illuminated bottle display that we designed and produced, for consumers to trial before ordering.
